"This beautiful looking sculpture is functional as well. This piece is a rotating flower pot / kaleidoscope combination. The base is made of 1/2" thick ground steel with a steel vine and stars flowing out of the base up to the pot, wrapping around a 2" diameter ground steel tube. The arm is mandrel bent and flows in a gentle arc to a point above the pot. A kaleidoscope is mounted on a turret allowing viewing at all angles. The pot itself is handmade from 18 gauge sheet metal, is mounted on the pipe with two (2) sealed axle bearings for smooth rotation, and finished with steel banding and ribbing. The entire piece was then heat treated for design, and clearcoated.
